1.0 Unboxing

Instructions

1. Carefully cut open the tape that covers the package.
2. Open the box and remove the foam packaging that covers it.
3. Carefully remove all the contents from the box.
4. Ensure all items are available as mentioned on the next page.

2.0 Assembly

The assembly of the Centralized Label Management Solution contains 3 main steps.

Step 1: Assembling the Base Plate

Please hold the base pad in your hand and follow the instructions below: 1. Put the M8 bolts through the holes labeled A in the diagram after aligning the keypad stand on the same holes. 2. Similarly, set the M4 screws through holes labeled B. 3. Through hole C, put the leg/support structure. 4. Set the structure down such that the screws are pointing upwards.

Instructions (continued):

• Turn the scale upside down.
• Place the base plate on the back of the weighing scale such that the screw holes are aligned with the screw holes/provisions on the scale.
• Insert the M4 Allen head screws and fasten them using the M4 Allen key.
• Once all screws are fastened, turn the scale upright.
• Disclaimer: Please make sure that there are no obstructions between the plate and scale before tightening it.

Step 2: Mounting the Data Logger

1. Ensure the side with the Device ID and QR code is facing up, and the ports are on the bottom.
2. Keep the assembly done in Step 1 such that the front of the weighing scale and keypad faces you.
3. Hold the Weighing Scale Data Logger upright.
4. Attach the Weighing Scale Data Logger using the spring mount to the DIN rail by snapping it on.

Tip: The Weighing Scale Data Logger moves up and down the length of the supporting rail seamlessly.

Step 3: Connecting Cables

1. Connect the Weighing Scale Data Logger to the printer using the RS232 cable.
2. Connect the Weighing Scale Data Logger to the weighing scale using the RS232 and fasten the screws.
3. Connect the DC to DC cable for power.
4. Connect the keypad connector.

Caution: If the connector is not removed with the help of the tab, the cable will get damaged and void the warranty.

3.0 Powering On

If you want to use the printer's power supply to power the system, please use Option 2. Otherwise, to power the device separately, use Option 1.

Option 1

• Power the printer and the WSDL separately with their respective adapters.
• One DC port on the WSDL will remain unused.

Option 2

• Power the WSDL with the power adapter of the printer.
• Use a DC to DC cable to power the printer from the WSDL.
